Pam Johnson - owner

Pam Johnson is the director of The Heights School of Yoga.

She has been teaching yoga for 20 years. She is a certified 500hr ERYT Senior teacher of the classical form of Vinyasakrama yoga. She dedicates her energy to the teaching of proper breathing techniques. Her focus taps into subtle body energy through synchronizing movement and breath while teaching specific pranayama and bandha techniques used for healing and longevity.

She studies extensively with Srivatsa Ramaswami Vinyasa Krama, Tias Little Prajna Yoga and teaches Vinyasakrama yoga for Swamahiman for Swami Vidyadishananda.

Harry McMahan

Harry McMahan

Harry teaches a hatha based class that helps to challenge your strength and endurance, but aid in your focus and is appropriate for all levels

Harry began his yoga studies in 2007 and soon felt a transformation in body, mind, and spirit. He completed his teacher certification in hatha yoga with Lex Gillan at the Yoga Institute in 2010 and is a recognized Yoga Alliance RYT200 instructor. Harry teaches a hatha yoga class using blocks, tennis balls, long held poses and breathing techniques that will help challenge your strength and endurance, but aid in your focus. Harry believes that yoga compliments various training regimens and all ways of life, helping more than just the physical needs of a person.

Leslie Phillips

Leslie Phillips

Leslie was introduced to yoga while studying in New York City. In 2011, following years of explorations through Vinyasa, Bikram, and Iyengar classes in NYC, Leslie earned her 200-Hour Teacher Training certification with Yoga Works, Inc. Yoga Works is an NYC and California based yoga studio with a core belief that, “Yoga works for everyone”.

Leslie instructs classes with an emphasis on proper physical alignment, comfort, and a deepened connection to the breath. Students of all ages and levels are encouraged to join her classes.

Leslie believes that a yoga mind is available to all that are willing to smile and submit themselves to a well-rounded yoga practice.
