Harry teaches a hatha based class that helps to challenge your strength and endurance, but aid in your focus and is appropriate for all levels
Sowmya was exposed to Hatha Yoga, in her childhood and teens, while growing up in India. Her appreciation and understanding of Yoga was furthered by her fondness to learn dance, and her inclination to understand the body. She earned her 200 hour teaching certification from the Yoga Institute of Houston.
Her childhood desire to learn Ballet actualized in adulthood. She believes that regular Ballet lessons have enhanced her strength and flexibility manifold. In her classes, she focuses on facilitating the body through the Pranayama (controlled breathing) and addresses the questions of how to gradually work towards the final Asanas (postures). She loves to draw some principles from dance in trying to understand the body.
She is driven by the idea that engaging the body creatively does wonders to the sprit. She believes that Yoga and dance have given her a lot – health and fitness, life discipline and balance, better understanding of the body, mind and muscle learning abilities. She shares all that by teaching Yoga. Classes are open to all; even those who have no prior experience.
