Pam Johnson invites you to join them in
paradise for the second annual
Heights School of Yoga’s retreat in
the Mayan Rivera.
Maya Tulum Wellness
Retreat and Spa is an elegant but
earthy retreat facility built
exclusively for the practice of
yoga. The food is amazing, the
setting just short of or maybe
paradise, the yoga challenging and
restorative. All followed by
explorative days reading a book on
the beach, floating down a fresh
water river, having a
mystic massage, or exploring the
magical ruins. Pam
will teach morning vinyasa classes
and evening restorative classes.
Yoga classes, food
and lodging are all included.
See
attached map for cabana location.

Maya Tulum is bathed in the warm sun
and waters of the Caribbean Sea, in
the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico.
The resort is located at the
entrance of the Sian Ka’an national
park, an intact biosphere reserve of
lagoons, mangroves, tropical rain
forests and awesome beaches, all
just an hour and a half drive from
Cancun’s International
Airport.
CABANAS
Surrounded by tropical gardens each
cabana is unique, all offer
beautiful views of the sea. Your
quiet refuge away from home.
SCHEDULE
Each day begins with a challenging 2
hour yoga practice followed by free
days to recoup with a Mayan massage,
shop, read a book on the beach,
explore the archaeological ruins of
Tulum, the jungle pyramids of Coba
or float down a fresh water canal.
Then return to the studio for
alternating evening restorative yoga
and centering Qigong class. End the
day with a quiet dinner, a glass of
wine and restful sleep lulled by the
sound of the near by ocean.
MEALS
All meals are served in the open air
palapa overlooking the ocean. The
vegetarian restaurant provides three
terrific meals a day. Breakfast
includes fresh tropical fruits,
eggs, pancakes, French toast and
juices. Lunch and dinner include a
wide range of homemade soups,
pastas, crepes, fresh fish,
vegetables, quiches, salads, rice
and desserts. Special diet requests
are available and care is taken in
the preparation and cleaning of all
fruits and vegetables.
