Pam Johnson invites you to join them in paradise for the second annual Heights School of Yoga’s retreat in the Mayan Rivera.

Maya Tulum Wellness Retreat and Spa is an elegant but earthy retreat facility built exclusively for the practice of yoga. The food is amazing, the setting just short of or maybe paradise, the yoga challenging and restorative. All followed by explorative days reading a book on the beach, floating down a fresh water river, having a mystic massage, or exploring the magical ruins. Pam will teach morning vinyasa classes and evening restorative classes.  Yoga classes, food and lodging are all included. See attached map for cabana location.

Maya Tulum is bathed by the warm waters of the Caribbean Sea in the Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico, land of the ancient Maya. The resort is located at the entrance of the Sian Ia’an national park, an intact biosphere reserve of lagoons, mangroves, tropical rain-forest and awesome beaches., An hour and a half drive after your arrival at the Cancun international Airport.

The crystal clear turquoise colored waters of the ocean and the unspoiled white sanded beaches extend for miles. The archeological ruins of Tulum and jungle pyramids of Coba are close by.

Vinyasakrama yoga matches movement to long smooth even inhalations/exhalations, grounding the student in breath and balance. These challenging vinyasas are specifically sequenced to build on one another allowing the student to reach their maximum potential. This practice is bone building, rejuvenating and contemplative. Every morning Pam will guide you through the (kramas) or set of vinyasakrama asanas, evening classes will be sequenced restorative asanas, and meditation. These classes will tap into a multitude of perspectives by weaving the threads of classical eastern and modern western yoga.
