Teresa began her yoga journey in
1980 with the celebrated “First Lady
of Yoga”, Lilias Folan. She was
certified as a Hatha Yoga Instructor
in 1996, and has also studied
Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Bikram,
Restorative, Prenatal and Partner
Yoga methods. Her training with
expert yogis including Bikram &
Rajashree Choudhury, Doug Swenson,
Jonny Kest, David Williams, Ana
Forrest, Julie Byrd, Misha Laird,
and Robert Boustany has aided her in
creating her own distinctive
technique, open to exploration and
change.
Class Description:
Energizing Vinyasa
This practice is for experienced
yogis, athletes, and active
beginners. Enhance current knowledge
of asana and explore advanced poses
with attention to flow, form and
breath. Each pose is linked to the
next in progressive sequences to
build intensity and hone focus.
Music adds inspiration, building on
the rhythmic flow of energy,
connection, and challenge. Humor and
modifications make poses accessible
for everyone. With consistent
practice, Vinyasa lightens burdens
